I've been meaning to get over to see a Blues game. Heard its a hard ticket to get.

Its not. They generally have big crowds but unless its Chicago, Detroit or Pittsburgh should be able to get tickets.

Just got home from the game. Roy is as fiery as always - he knocked the glass between the two teams' boxes down at the end. Not sure what he was so pissed about, but it was pretty hilarious.

Lovejoy stuck a knee out on MacKinnon. That's why he was pissed.

Yep - just watched a couple of replays - that's definitely what it was. I saw the hit live but didn't realize that's what all of the scuffle was about.

I haven't looked back at it, but it also looked like one of the Ducks slew footed Varlamov earlier in the game, but I didn't get a good look at it.

It wasn't a particularly egregious hit. Lovejoy may've had the SLIGHTEST consideration of trailing his knee, but it wasn't some superdirty hit. Roy's reaction was hilarious, but entirely childish and over-the-top. He's gonna look like a clown more than a few times this season, especially when the losses start piling up, which they will with that defense.

Eh, regardless, I can understand being pissed off that a team takes a run at injuring your 18-year-old #1 draft pick in your first game as an NHL coach. It also wasn't the first time in the game; Lovejoy tried to fight McKinnon earlier as well.

I'll take the fiery attitude over the "sit back and take it" approach that Sacco has had any day.
