I'm very interested in what Peters' reaction will be when Tyreek roasts him for TD #3.

What is currently going on inside Peters' brain:

I don’t think the Rams team respects Goff. Go back and look at that Saints game. His guard got into a scuffle with a Saints player and Goff went over to calm him down. His guard shoved his hands off of him and walked away.

Kicked off his team in college and traded from us. Not because of his play. Because he's mentally unstable and can't speak like a professional.

It'll be interesting to see if he even finishes the game. I have a feeling that Travis Kelce is going to know exactly what to say to him to make him melt down. Two unsportsmanlike penalties = ejection.

I'd kind of like to see Peters remain in the game because going over the top on him is like taking candy from a baby. He's absolute shit at defending deep routes. On top of that, when Hill matches up on him he's gonna get his ankles folded in half by the quick double moves and give up chunks. He's the best possible matchup for KC's receivers.

You'd have to think Reid is going to focus on pounding his side on outside runs and screens just for that simple fact. He's going to get steamrolled.

They have a lot of talent but its more like rented mercenaries than teammates,at least on the D side.

Read something a few weeks back on the Rams Dline and Suh was asked what it was like to play alongside Donald and Suh said something like we dont really talk or something along those lines.

They almost got Kahlil Mack.
McVey said they were close to trading for Mack with the same package the Bears offered, but the Raiders couldnt do it because they thought Bears picks would be better. But they wernt going to sign him long term like the Bears did. Their plan was to have Mack for this season then trade him in the offseason to recoup the picks they gave up.

.

And there it was. Look, every player on a team is united in a single goal of winning a championship, or at least they should be.

The difference between a group like that and a team like KC, is that the Chiefs have no controversy in regards to who their leader is; the trust has been earned and is there for PM II on both sides of the ball and when it's time to play, everyone is engaged in the whole show instead of dividing into camps.
Also, though the Chiefs have quite a few young guys who are just now starting to hit, there's still a good mix of guys on this team who have come in together, come up together, and are hitting the next level together. There's a place for FA, but you'll never convince me that a roster full of FA's is going to have the same chemistry as a team developing together.

No way, no how.

Otter 11-09-2018 02:31 AM

"They were going to travel Marcus to him, and that was fine by us," Payton said after the game. "We thought we really liked that matchup -- a lot."

I don't know what he said on the sideline.. maybe he was yelling "Peters, Peters!" and pointing to make sure that Brees saw to go for Thomas. :: shrug ::

Marcus Peters rode an exercise bike or raised a fist during the national anthem which caused some snowflakes to melt. So now they need to prove that Marcus Peters is a terrible person by tracking everything he does.

Being a head case like picking up a penalty flag and throwing it into the crowd had nothing to do with it.

Coming from somebody that loved Peters and didn’t give a **** about that shit, this is ****ing reeruned.

The guy is clearly a headcase and is playing like shit. Sorry that some of us are happy that we got rid of this cancer and actually got something out of it (not to mention all 3 of our corners are playing better).

It sounds like it's very easy to get into his head. It will be fun to see other teams take advantage of that fact and observe the inevitable fallout.

Well, given Peters' lack of speed he won't run nearly as far. Tyreek will be five to ten yards further downfield on every play.

If the Chiefs run heavy sets Peters direction 15 times in Mexico and then have Hill take him on go routes a few times, #22 might retire at half time.

We need to run a bunch of sweeps, screens, and RPOs at him to make him tackle and maybe let some of the pulling fatties get a nice block on him.

That is what I hope to see....a PURPOSEFUL effort to just beat the shit out of him and make him quit. If he was a dick to Mahomes as reported, I could see them trying to throw for 200 yards on him too....High altitude, just have a 3 man rotations of go routes on him the first quarter and beat him like a pinata until the candy comes out on TV.

On the 810 AM Border Patrol they were hinting that Sean is one of the most vocal of the Head Coaches for trash talking in the NFL. They also said that he isnt the only one in the league that trash talks on the sideline. My money is on Tomlin being a trash talker. We sure know he is not above cheating along the sideline.
