Lyons has two great breaking pitches. If he can effectively spot the fastball early in the count he can do some damage with them.

If he can get the ball within 15 feet of the plate he will be just fine. The Royals simply don't want it at all right now.

We don't like to see pitches, so as long he spots it out of the zone, he'll be gold. If not, we may foul a few off and run his pitch count up before slow rolling one to short.
