Tom Brady slammed for jumping off a cliff in Costa Rica with daughter, 6: 'Irresponsible'

The New England Patriots quarterback and husband of supermodel Gisele, posted the video, shot at a waterfall during a family trip to Costa Rica. In it, Vivi, wearing a pink bathing suit, stands on top of the cliff next to her father.

“Ready?” the 41-year-old asks his daughter. He counts to three and the two jump from the rocks while holding hands. “If Vivi is going to be an Olympic champion one day, it probably won’t be in synchronized diving,” Brady wrote on Instagram. “Daddy always gives her a 10 though!”

The athlete commented under the video, “I didn’t want to be the first Brady to fall off a cliff!”

The daredevil move shocked Brady’s friends. “You KNOW I have complete faith in you as a man, friend, player and father – but this just gave me anxiety. Geeezus,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wrote, while Diddy added a crying face emoji.

“You basically tried to kill her,” wrote someone.

“Nothing like getting a torn labrum at 10 years old,” added another. And a person remarked, “He was in motion, if he let her go she could have been seriously injured on the rocks.”

There were tweets that the star was “irresponsible” and that the 6-year-old appeared nervous to make the leap.

Brady and Gisele, who have been married for ten years, have previously endured parenting judgement. In 2018, during his Facebook documentary series, “Tom vs. Time” Brady gave his 11-year-old son Jack a quick kiss on the lips, which was widely described as inappropriate.

And when the New England Patriots lost the 2018 Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles, Gisele was called patronizing for telling her disappointed children, “...Their whole life, they never won a Super Bowl. You have to let someone else win sometimes.’’

Gisele wrote on Twitter, "Just to be clear. No one 'let' anyone win. People win because of their own merit. Tired of people twisting my words to create drama that doesn't exist!"

Has anyone blamed Reek yet?

FringeNC 07-21-2019 07:56 AM

The type of person outraged by that is the type of person that calls the police when they see unattended children playing outside.

Did he kiss Robert Kraft on the lips before he made the harrowing leap?

Pulling a female off a cliff is far worse than shoving a female in a hotel.

I hate Tom Brady as much as anyone, but this is a non-issue.

On another note: the article said his parenting recently came under fire for giving his son a "quick kiss on the lips" lol nah, dawg. There was lip contact for like 3 seconds. Brady was savoring that kiss.
