Anyone here actually going to the Ravens game?

I figure to see more purple there than red. Just curious if anyone here was planning on attending.

Tailgate in the usual spot (F24 in the grass median by the crosswalk), if anyone's interested.

Also, make sure to bring your cameras in order to snap shots of/record part of the banner flyover!

HemiEd 10-03-2012 10:53 AM

Nope, nobody.

All kidding aside though, what radio station broadcasts the game out of Springfield? I will be leaving that area on the drive home about game time.

King_Chief_Fan 10-03-2012 10:54 AM

Not going....not watching....not caring, but you have fun and it is nice of you to extend an invitation to your tailgate

Planetman 10-03-2012 10:55 AM

I heard the season was already over.

I'm going to start the Ravens DST in my ffl this week. :)

bevischief 10-03-2012 10:57 AM

We need pics to record history and pass along to the media.

tooge 10-03-2012 11:14 AM

gonna be a sparse crowd for sure. The American Royal BBq is this weekend, and it's now extended to sunday, so that is gonna be drawing thousands away, plus the chiefs general suckness, I forsee at least half no shos

lcarus 10-03-2012 11:14 AM

Im not going to another game until we get a new QB. Which sucks because I still love the Chiefs and Arrowhead. But enough is enough with this shit QB carousel.

I said the same thin yesterday, now my son wants to go and nobody else is going, so I've got an extra ticket. I may take him but I'm gonna try to convince him that going squirrel huntin would be much more fun.

Ace Gunner 10-03-2012 11:20 AM

There will be plenty of room to stretch those cramped legs by halftime.

Hell to the yes! Start Ray Rice too if you have him...he is bound to have a good 1st half.

bevischief 10-03-2012 11:30 AM

The donation for the banner and whatever we come up with will be the only money I spend on the Chiefs this year till they turn this team around heading for winning and no more of this same old crap.

ptlyon 10-03-2012 11:35 AM

Shit, club level was maybe half full the first game!

Sorry. I would have answered you before, but I must have missed the part of the post where you asked.

I'm going. Likely won't get there till 11 or 11:30.

Not at all.

I'd go, if I could. I want to see the banner live, and how the crowd reacts to Kasl when he ****s up.

Nzoner 10-03-2012 01:31 PM

They don't care about the banner, and they don't care about the crowd's reaction. They care about the temperature of the seats. As long as you're keeping them warm, it doesn't matter if you're cheering, booing, or yodeling.

|Zach| 10-03-2012 01:34 PM

No way I am spending all that time going to a game. I might flip to the channel to see how its going a few times.

Same here. If I came up with free tickets, I'd drive up from STL to see this all go down.

Dad has season tickets, and he's golfing at Whiteman (sp?) and Lake of the Ozarks this weekend. Asked if I wanted them. I am paying the cost of riding up in the RV, of course, but tailgating is worth that cost.

I don't really mean you're a traitor to the cause. It is counterproductive, though. You wouldn't keep going back to a restaurant where the waiters spit in your food and the management didn't care.

Why would you want to take your own family out just to have them wear bags on their heads.

They're not attractive people. As an additional act of defiance, he's removed all the mirrors from the home.

If you're referring to me, I might have taken it personally if he'd said that they insist I wear one of them. :)

WakkaWakka 10-03-2012 02:05 PM

I will be going

But will not set foot inside the stadium. The sad thing is I'm a Season Ticket Holder and its my birthday on Sunday. I'd rather stay at the tailgate and party with some friends who refuse to go in also.

Went to the SD game, crowd was harsh towards Cassel. Chants of Quinn filled the stadium, and a lot of Hey Cassel, F**** you

Dave Lane 10-03-2012 02:11 PM

Turned down 3 free tickets.

Happy early birthday, you should have a blast with that plan,I only say that because shortly before I gave up my season tickets some years ago some friends and I did the same thing.

I was trying to decide on that...I *could* sell it(I only have one). But then what would be the purpose of not going in? I kinda want my seat to be empty hoping other people will follow til things change....I dunno, maybe my hopes are too high.

Can't blame you. If I had free tickets and lived up there, I'd still probably go. But I definitely wouldn't be as excited about it as I normally am.

I really wish I could not watch. At this point my brother and I kinda gear up for a tragic event to take place every Sunday morning. It's become funny. When Cassel and company take the field, we just say "Here we go again!". :deevee:
