Black Friday (Black November this year?) 2020

I know there's usually some official Black Friday thread on here, but I can't remember if it's in here of in the Media subforum. Anyway, I know a lot of places are having a bunch of sales throughout the month of November instead of the hoards rushing the stores.

I'm on the hunt for a super cheap 32" smart TV for my kiddo's play room. I'm finding some for about $108-$148 various places. Just thought I'd see if anyone knew of any current or upcoming deals?

Also, anything you're hunting for this year?

I was on walmart.com and had a 55" 4K tv for 148

added to cart

filled out the info and credit card number then clicked buy

the site then said "out of stock"

went back to the main page and they were still advertising this deal

had it in my cart and tried to purchase again going through this cycle

gave up and filed a bbb complaint https://www.bbb.org/consumer-complai...nt/get-started

that shit should be illegal

you can get a 32" roku tv at walmart every day for 108, I have 3 now

yeah I tried for that TV also and no luck when it went live. I didn't need it so I wasn't to disappointed.

The 1 dollar one plus earbuds were a joke. They went live at three rounds at different times. Noone I know got any.

I found an Insignia Fire TV 32" at Best Buy for $99.99. Everything is looking pretty similar across the board, so I guess I just need to decide if I want Fire or Roku. Do you have to pay Roku for a service? I'm mainly just looking at price though. It's for a 4-year old, so I'm not really keeping the quality bar set too high.

Nope. Roku itself is free.

To get the full Fire functionality, you really want Amazon Prime. But yes, technically it's free.
