Tyler looked good but was real vanilla short passes and check downs, he had 2 real good throws, 1 real bad underthrow that should have been picked.

Nobody has looked good at all. Manuel had one decent throw for a TD, that's the only QB highlight of the game so far.

You can't really argue with my statement regarding the group as a whole. I like Wilson a lot, but his performance so far is average at best. Manuel's performance might be considered to be slightly above average due to his nice deep throw. Mix those two in with others playing at a very, very low level and I stand by my statement.

There's a reason Smith didn't come. This is why. He was almost certainly already the top rated QB in the class, so he didn't have anything at all to gain. The only thing he could do was hurt his position with a game like all these guys have had so far today.

i'd give manuel the edge over wilson just cause his TD pass was beautiful and he has a TD pass but wilson has played just as good and made very accurate throws even for being short passes

Underwhelming as a #1 overall, maybe, but he'd have definitely been in contention for the Dolphin's 8th overall pick last year ahead of Tannehill, IMO. It could just be the rose-colored goggles I'm wearing, but as of now, I think Geno is a solid top-10 or top-15 pick in any post-payscale change draft.

I just don't see how it would be a "bad idea" to take him at 1 if he's worth some other top-10 pick. He's a strong prospect at what is by far our team's largest position of need. Had we won one or two more games by sheer luck, our team would have the exact same needs as it does now, and all of a sudden he would be a good pick?

I have been a Geno fan for two years now. I have every every single game of his last year and the year before. I was raving for the Jaguars to get him at the beginning of the season.

And even I would be terrified about taking him with our #2. I think it's just way too much of a gamble with him. Though the Chiefs definitely have fewer holes to fill on the team so they HAVE to make the pick.
