On the way in I noticed one douche wearing a Bono Jersey, another douche wearing a Grbac jersey, and I saw Pittsburgh, Oakland, Green Bay, Dallas Jerseys. And of course lots of Washington fans.

I have a pal who lives in Maryland who's a big Redskin fan. He said they almost won but Grant couldn't hold that last pass inside two minutes (I think it was Grant, right?) where the ball rolled out when he hit the ground.

He also said he thinks Kelce is a hot dog, like a white Shannon Sharpe. Can't really disagree with that.

If Kelce played for any other team I would hate him with a passion. I'll bet he's a huge douche to be around

And he's getting a hell of a lot of grief for not making what would've been an outstanding catch.

In all reality, Cousins probably should've hit Reed underneath there; he'd have still had a big gain to set up another set of downs with goal to go. The degree of difficulty on the throw and catch there made that a play that actually gets made maybe 1 times in 3. Too much on the line to take that shot over a gimme 20 yarder.

But there's a lot of hindsight to that analysis. It was an outstanding throw and if that's the 1 time that Doctson does come down with it, the legend of Cousins continues to grow.

If the Redskins take the lead there...the narrative on Alex Smith changes completely, barring a miracle drive.

What a strange game it is.

Every single win thus far has a play in it that turned the game around. If the Chiefs don't force the Patriots out on 4th and goal but instead go down 14-0 that game's almost certainly over. The route would be on.

If the screen from Wentz makes it over Houston's head, the blocking was in nice shape there and that may well have led to the Eagles taking the lead.

The Chargers game...uh...well I dunno. The score was close but I never really felt like the Chargers were gonna win that one. I guess if Rivers doesn't suck quite so badly in the 1st.

The Redskins game is much different if not for the offsides penalty that gives the Chiefs another shot on 3rd down to take the lead. Or if they don't have the illegal hands to the face that extended the FG drive and gave the Chiefs the lead back before the Doctson play that wasn't made.

I mean realistically it wouldn't have taken much for a 4-0 Chiefs team to be 0-4 but that's the nature of the NFL. It's a parity driven league and for all but the truly worst teams, you can probably find 10-12 games any given season that could've easily gone the other way but/for one play made or not made.

But Smith's shown an ability to make plays this year when there's been an opportunity for them. That's what matters.
