The Patriots ended up winning by a smaller margin against the Chargers... 41-28.

Since you are seemingly obsessed with the optics of who looks more impressive holding onto leads, the Chiefs led by 17 at the half and won by 18, the Patriots led by 28 at the half and won by 13.

But but but....the Pats played cover 2 the entire 2nd half. That’s why the Chargers scored those points.

So I just saw it is supposed to be a balmy high of 23 now. At least according to weather channel. I won't be at the game so idgaf how cold it gets but Arrowhead was freaking rocking in a blizzard last weekend... don't think single digits are gonna hold people back from AFC Championship weekend

I seem to recall the Chiefs playing the Chargers at home, four weeks prior.....so I guess he got that chance! How'd that work out for him? LOL

Hey Pats fan... you actually suck at this.

It's been improving all day. We'll have to see where it lands on Sunday morning, but better believe 70k are showing up bundled and DRUNK.

I don't think single digits will keep people away but those kinds of temps definitely affect crowd noise, for a number of reasons.

If it's clear and 24 instead of clear and 4, that's going to be a big deal.

They did in October against the Chiefs, too.

Gee, you'd think if that were a problem, they'd fix it. Maybe they just can't man up for 60 minutes? Maybe they get tired?

But at the same time, I have a quiet confidence of seeing a healthy grizzled and proud veteran team going into the Lion's den to prove a point. And this thought it going to carry me a long way.

And even if we do not win, and am bummed we are not in Foxboro, I am enjoying the ride of my team going into historic Arrowhead with an opportunity to win the AFCCG.

NOTE: Hey a 100 page thread. :-).

Both teams do some things astoundingly well and both have major flaws. Both of our coaches are geniuses at exploiting the flaws. The homer in me says Chiefs by more than 2 scores but the rational side of me has no delusions that this is going to be an easy contest, either way. You guys have the GOAT and we have the future, the narrative for this game is perfect. I hope both teams bring their A game and give us one for the ages.

Absolutely.

I've always been one that didn't like this part of it. Yeah, a drunken crowd is a rowdy crowd. But you can be LOUD without being drunk and you can sure as heck be smarter about when you are loud than when you're drunk.

I kind of wish people would take it more seriously I guess, for their own good and for the good of the team on the field. But hey, it's a party. Let's get smashed. LOL

That video makes one thing pretty obvious, the Pats and their fans think anybody in the media talking highly about the Chiefs or Mahomes is disrespecting them.

Just think how arrogant you have to be to get offended by that. I’ve never seen players respond to the media quite like this considering the media really hasn’t been against them at all.

You’d think the Chiefs were talking shit too. They haven’t said a word.

If we don't do the job on Hill and Kelce you will win by 2 scores. Easy.
