I'd post about this, but all the girls are dancing to Jay Sean.

Well KU was ranked as the #1 team in the nation at the end of the 2007 by a poster and MU wasn't so who knows?

I mean we win and all but is that supposed to be the KU fan's fault?

Why are you guys still pestering us? Aren't you happy now with all that you have?

Why bother with us?

1) Make a dipshit post saying "Can't beat 'em.....run"

2) Get tossed around like a drunken Jodi Foster in a bar for making statement

3) Post "Y U MAD AT KU BROS" after you catch breath

4) Profit

You guys probably don't give a shit about college baseball (and I don't really either), but is Mizzou generally better than this? I know that they have a key pitching injury this year, but we spanked their asses this week starting our scrubs. Maybe baseball just isn't that big of a deal at Mizzou, though?

nice try. Said post was in response to the Bevo ass comment.

KU has no problem with Texas. In fact KU benefits greatly financially from being affiliated with Texas. They have a nice back and forth on the bball court with KU obviously being victorious most of the time.

They do owe us for the football game they stole in 2006 though, I'll give you that.

I wish they were better, but we have a pro team that does okay.

Very true. Therein lies one of the reason Hogs fans are so ****ing nuts. We have no pro teams and only a single college in the state that's worth a shit.

The RedBirds have a pretty big following in Arky.

Missouri's baseball program has declined sharply over the past 2-3 years after having a really nice decade. They lost their pitching coach to TCU (And a $500k contract) right around the same time they started having really bad luck with losing guys to MLB draft/overslot bonuses (i.e. Jason Adam of the Royals).

The Tigers' facilities are really bad. There isn't much commitment to the program. The coach has been there almost 20 years and isn't a "next level" guy.

Massive upgrades are going to be needed to avoid getting their asses kicked routinely in the SEC.

Yup. Dates back to the Arkansas Travelers being a farm team for the Cards (which is no longer the case). I grew up as a Cardinal fan.

Yep.

Tiger baseball just finished up a great run where we went to the NCAA tournament in seven consecutive seasons (2003-2009) and had a few 1st round draft picks in Max Scherzer, Aaron Crow, and Kyle Gibson.

But our facilities and financial commitment significantly lags behind the elite programs, including the majority of the SEC. Also the fan support is nowhere near SEC level; I believe our attendance would be dead last in the SEC. Most have speculated that of all our athletic programs, baseball will have the biggest hill to climb to compete in the SEC.

In my opinion, we need some new blood in the program. Jamieson has done a lot for the program but it seems like it is time for a change. I'd like to see us promote a top assistant from one of the better SEC programs.

The answer to Missouri's baseball program problems currently resides in Manhattan, KS: Brad Hill.

Though I hear now that he's hoping to angle for a "big-time" job if he leaves KSU. Which probably is not Mizzou.

Hill is awesome. Great baseball mind, program builder, great coach, develops his assistants incredibly well.

Also in the midst of a 9 game losing streak.
