The only country artists I've listened to and still do- are Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson. Kris's song "Sunday Morning Coming Down" is still one of my favorite all-tme songs.

Sunday Morning Comin Down is one of the greatest songs ever. I'm pretty sure I posted it earlier in the thread.

They don't understand now....but later, they look back with love. And deep down they absolutely love how we fawn over them. It's just not cool to show that externally.

Sweet live performance that it so close to the cd sound it's scary.

Yeah... I'm so lucky in that my kiddo is kind of the exception to that rule. She still says I love you daddy to me in front of her friends (she's 16 in 2 weeks) and she'll still give me a kiss on the cheek with anyone around. I fact her friends call me "daddy" because they think it's cute that Ray does it still. She doesn't love too many pictures though lol.

Mine still acts like I walk on water...and shes closer to 17 than she is 16..

This one from Tim McGraw has been one of our favorite songs since it came out....and a nice story behind why.

We were on our way home from the Father-Daughter dance...one of those special nights you don't need a camera for because what is there in your memory is better than video.

We danced the last dance after a night of her dancing with her friends, dancing with me....and she was worn out. She was so tired that on the way home she closed her eyes and I thought she had gone to sleep. "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw came on...and I sang along with it...at the end of the song I looked over and there were tears in her eyes....

You're pretty much my hero when it comes to this stuff. Great story.

Just love the whole feel of this one. If I were a country singer this is a song I'd want to do.

Well it wasn't a big "hit" so radio doesn't play it anymore... so people forget. I don't forget heh. I archive songs I like.
