Up to an inch, (and possibly slightly more) is expected for the KC area. Feel free to discuss your panic or talk about the storm in general in here.

Rain Man 11-08-2018 10:48 AM

I ran my first snow race of the winter last weekend in Colorado. It started raining at Mile 3, and at Mile 5 I started seeing snowflakes. It came down pretty good for about 20 minutes. I was not expecting that.

Just as long as you guys keep it up there. I'm hoping it bypasses here. Although, even if we do get some, it won't be enough to accumulate.

displacedinMN 11-08-2018 08:26 PM

Snow is much more fun when your truck does not invoke the automatic traction control.

Have to head out again. Little accumulation. Still amazed how Minnesotans need to learn how to drive on slick roads. YOU LIVE HERE.

As cold as it was its just frozen air at this point. But you're right. I shouldn't bitch about the moisture especially since all but 40 acres of my wheat is in good stubble that will catch snow.

But man I hate shoveling snow in cold wind.

This is insane. I can't remember the last time we had more than a dusting in November. Earlier this month we had about 2-3 inches. I didn't officially measure, but I did stick my index finger (which is the same length as my dick and it just barely went past it). Now we are going to have a second snow in December, but this time it's going to be a god damn blizzard.

What a miserable month this has been with all the cold and snow. Its like we have only gotten to have summer and winter over the last year. Its like Mother Nature is saying **** your enjoyable seasons of Spring and Fall. I'm going to hit you with the miserable seasons of Winter and Summer. It sucks because I literally love Fall and Spring. I want to give them all 2.5 inches.

I actually would bet that they'd have postponed a home game to Monday or Tuesday. They've done that a couple times over the last few years. Especially when this looks like an actual blizzard and roads are all shut down.

Too cold, wouldn't be able to get an accurate measurement. It would have been hard to hit the bottom if snow we're warm, but since it's cold I'd shrivel up and the old Peter would go right up inside.
