I ran my first snow race of the winter last weekend in Colorado. It started raining at Mile 3, and at Mile 5 I started seeing snowflakes. It came down pretty good for about 20 minutes. I was not expecting that.

Just as long as you guys keep it up there. I'm hoping it bypasses here. Although, even if we do get some, it won't be enough to accumulate.
|
I had someone cancel a meeting today because of the Big Snowstorm headed our way-lol
|
I35 from olathe to KC becomes a parking lot when it rains. I'd imagine tonight it will be a 2 hr commute
|
Wonderful! I have a flight in to KC tomorrow afternoon for the game. I hope we don't delay.

a bunch of crashes. cars stuck for an hour on 169. Chaos ensued. good pics on the site http://www.startribune.com/slippery-...hes/499919492/ |

I've already killed the dogs and began butchering them for meat to make it through this hellish blizzard.

Snow is much more fun when your truck does not invoke the automatic traction control.
Have to head out again. Little accumulation. Still amazed how Minnesotans need to learn how to drive on slick roads. YOU LIVE HERE. |
May you survive the dusting of doom.
|
We are expecting an inch of desert dust here in Scottsdale, should I buy a shovel? :hmmm:
|
Man, having to go out and brush the snow off my van was brutal. one inch of snow is heavy ass shit.

There’s going to be a zillion one who sucks the peniss on the road. If you’re one of them and the highway is anything other than perfect, watch your cornhole bud.
|
An inch? You're worried about an inch? We get that in 5 minutes here sometimes. What kind of idiots don't know how to drive with a whopping inch of snow?

Yesterday I was outside working on my house, 65 and sunny. This morning the wind is howling out of the Northeast -never a good sign btw. Wifey went to church this AM -hey, Catholics show up no matter what the weather- and I've got the other car all covered up and the shovel and ice melt at the ready. Can you imagine if we had a Chiefs home game today? Wow....
|
This sucks

I can't even see my neighbors house. We are looking at 8 to 12 inches total. 50 mph winds. :shake:

This is a crazy setup. If this was a slower moving storm, we would be talking about a blizzard for the ages.

Still just wet and 40 degrees up by World's of Fun. Guess I better get to the store and get some milk and eggs while I can.

Meanwhile in Minneapolis https://rms-weather.rdale.org/webcam.jpg Mostly sunny, with a high near 26. North wind around 15 mph. |

This is insane. I can't remember the last time we had more than a dusting in November. Earlier this month we had about 2-3 inches. I didn't officially measure, but I did stick my index finger (which is the same length as my dick and it just barely went past it). Now we are going to have a second snow in December, but this time it's going to be a god damn blizzard.
What a miserable month this has been with all the cold and snow. Its like we have only gotten to have summer and winter over the last year. Its like Mother Nature is saying **** your enjoyable seasons of Spring and Fall. I'm going to hit you with the miserable seasons of Winter and Summer. It sucks because I literally love Fall and Spring. I want to give them all 2.5 inches. |

Winds blowing about 30mph with higher gusts. Grandkids are out front trying to rake the leaves into some kind of leaf wall/wind block to hide behind and get out of the wind. ROFL
