SR, have you ever heard of Anticon?

Simply Red 03-19-2013 12:34 AM

I love the African American culture - they pioneer a lot of styles, even Tim Tebow had a faux hawk, so did Kevin Durant - and KD can rap too.

No sir - but i'm going to explore them now that you've mentioned them. It's funny how much more you all are influenced by west coast hip hop, in KC. You don't hear a lot of that here - it's all dirty south. and then there are the huge hits that land on the west coast and east coast...

Sr- check out dizzy Wright and funk volume

Also, you live in Atlanta, right? You know who rittz is? His album, white Jesus, may be the greatest thing I have ever heard.

Simply Red 03-19-2013 12:43 AM

one of the artists sounded an awfully lot like Slum Village.

there is a multitude of local hip hop artists here - like droves of them - a few live here in town close to me. I just don't know who they are - but they drive Lambo's and Ferrari's and things. Rap has gotten too clouded for me - I still like a track or two per year - but really I just try to find instrumental stuff - it's sort of hard to find - I love Dj Krush, Spooky, and some DJ Shadow, but that genre was really 'shorted/slighted' back around 96ish - just either rappers or break or d and b dj's - no real instrumental Dj's - Like i could count them on one hand ( for the world's tally )

I don't get it. Codeine? The ****? Why not use somethin good. You're rich and famous. Surely you can get your hands on some frickin oxycontin. Hydrocodone at least. Codeine overdose? What a dipshit.
