I mean, Berry and Houston still haven't hit 30 yet, Chris Jones should be back to his old self with help by him on the D Line, and after Peters sat for a game there hasn't been any real problems since. I wouldn't say we are in complete overhaul mode just yet, just a retooling.

We better hope Veach can identify defensive talent. We need a few killer defensive drafts to fix the defense.

Houston hasn't looked great since his big contract. 2018 is probably his last year in a Chiefs uniform unless he gets back to greatness or restructures. The Chiefs can save 14 million by cutting him him in 2019. And to be honest, he's only had 1 great year. 2013 he was off to a very good year until he got injured.

there's nothing to regress from they literally didn't go anywhere since 2013. just a 5 year plateau of nothing.

What makes you think the offense is being rebuilt?

Tweaked yes. But rebuilt? Doesn't make any sense

Um, he traded DJ Alexander for Kevin Pierre-Louis and traded a 2019 4th round pick for Reggie Ragland.

I read an article that point blank said Reid's offense was designed around Alex.

One of the main reasons we were never going to see Mahomes (no matter how bad the slide was in the middle) this season was this fact.

Its fairly well known...and andy will completely redesign the offense around Mahomes, no doubt.

I can try and find the article if you like...

That can only be a good thing

What type of team gets shutout in the 2nd half again and again?

I think 2018 will be better in some areas and worse in others, but in the end I think it'll be a 9-7 or 10-6 campaign

Our playoff loss was such a ****ing debacle, and I just couldn't care less if it means Mahomes takes over.
