On the bright side, Kpass is starting to perform

Not bad now that he's playing in his best position.

43% of defensive snaps:

13 tckle, 1 PD, 1 FF, 1 sack, 3 TFL, 2 QB hits

Almost the same numbers as Frank Clark taking half the snaps with a fraction of the salary.

He had some really nice plays last game. Set the edge split double teams. He should take over Suckafors spots

BossChief 10-15-2019 09:14 PM

They need to get Frank Clark right, medically and split his snaps up between KPass and Ogbah until then.

The defense would improve and once healthy, we would be getting the guy we paid for.

Yep but it won’t happen.

I bet Clark refused the surgery because he was looking to get that new contract and now it’s biting us in the ass.

Clark is in the same situation as Berry. Both refused surgery and it’s hurting them

Hard to blame guys wanting to get paid though. The way the NFL is set up it’s all about getting that big second deal.

He got his. Now hopefully he can get healthy and perform.

It definitely reinforces how important it is to get the draft right though. That way at least the team has more control.

If you draft a guy like Clark, then you know about the injury, you can choose to do what Seattle did and unload the problem on someone else.

I've seen Kpass make quite a few nice plays. I'm in on playing him more.

chiefforlife 10-15-2019 10:16 PM

I agree, Kpass needs more playing time.

TambaBerry 10-15-2019 10:30 PM

Our medical team never should have signed off on getting him if he was in need of surgery

Why Not? 10-15-2019 10:34 PM

One of like maybe 3 guys on defense that has been worth a shit so far

rtmike 10-16-2019 02:25 AM

Of course this is his last year too, right, lol?

Pay up suckas Chiefs, lol.

John Dorsey was really outstanding at drafting during his Chiefs tenure. The Chiefs were arguably the best team in the league at drafting during his tenure.

Dorsey pretty much never missed (badly) with high picks.

What surgery is Clark needing? Sorry, just getting on.

UCLs in both elbows. Just another facet of this dumper fire of a personnel move.
