What will you be watching for during the first preseason game?
 

First and foremost - I think we can agree, NO INJURIES.

On offense:

I think we pretty well know what we're getting with the first team, minus the offensive line. I'd like to see how they play in the series or two they get.

Beyond that, it's all about the depth at every position. How do the rookies look? Is Pringle the next coming of Bobby Sippio?

On defense:

My eyes will be glued on the LBs. The fact that Ragland is slated to start at MLB is not good. I hope someone flashes and takes his spot.

The CB position will have my attention as well. Please don't let Breeland be David Amerson 2.0.

The D line depth will also have my eye. I want to see those 2nd team guys dominate. It'd be nice to see something from K-Pass and Speaks.

Anyway, what will you be watching for?

Tremon Smith and Hardman

Oh and of course the no look left handed behind the back 80 yard bomb Mahomes will throw to Hill.

Smith is intriguing. Hardman as well. I'd like to see what Hardman can get done vs the second team guys.

Carlos Hyde too. I feel like he's gonna suck ass. But we'll see.

I'll be watching the LBs as well. Surely someone can step up and put Ragland on the bench/on a Greyhound bus out of town.
I doubt most of the 1s will play much, so my other focus will be on the 2nd/3rd stringers in the secondary. I know CB depth is a concern for a lot of people, but I can't help but wonder if a lot failure from last year was due to horrid S play.
