I guess I don't get the good riddance comments. He was really good as a returner. I don't mind that he's gone but not like he was worthless.

Returners seem to be fairly plug n play for Toub.

Exactly, adding Thomas adds nothing to the O. He should never be on the field the same time PMII is. Over his 5 year career Thomas has 689 yards from scrimmage and 450 of those yards came in his first 2 years. He adds nothing to Offense.

If not for a spectacular play by derwin James he catches a long td from mahomes last year iirc...

He also would’ve caught that bomb for a TD if Derwin James didn’t made a hell of a play.

Or this.

No, they're replacing their top gunner with a dude that has already done it so they feel comfortable with him and he knows the playbook.

It's just like the Allen signing basically, they don't like the young players they have for the role.

They're all in for winning NOW.

He's dogshit no matter what scheme he plays in.

DAT was a nice weapon last year that was used in opportune moments.

The return fake in Pittsburgh, taking a handoff in Denver, the toss pass TD in LA.

There was a hole open on ST’s and it just so happens that DAT can provide more speed at RB for specialty plays.

Poor Tremon Smith. Hopefully the Bengals give him a shot...or wait...we ****ing trade the mother****er for Malik Jefferson. Pick the phone up Veach! Let’s rape the Bengals!

And despite his diminutive size, he's tough and tenacious. Toub has talked about this.

I wouldn't call him tenacious, he bailed on the team for like an entire season a couple years ago.

I get why they brought him back though. He is useful in certain scenarios/Special Teams.

wazu 08-20-2019 09:12 PM

I guess if he’s as great at gunner as you all say and that’s all he does then fine.
