I think I disagree. Especially looking at the last few replay angles it sure looks like the defender is lurking right there. I understand what you are saying and low and inside would greatly have reduced the chance of it being picked.

However I think considering the risk vs reward there I don't think it was a great spot to go.

I didn't watch the game but from the GIF it looks like Mahomes was taking shot after shot. Was our line that bad?

i did notice, generally, even when mahomes was off, his targets were in better position to make catches where as smith placed his receivers in 'bad' situations. :D

It was the worst that I can recall. The tackles were especially bad. Like, should give up football entirely bad.
