Field for Chiefs vs. Rams is horrible
https://brobible.com/sports/article/...a-chiefs-rams/
This is why you don’t play NFL games in shitty third world countries. |
get loose hennes
|
JFC
|
Raiders think that field looks great
|
Jfc, the NFL shouldn't allow the game to be played there for the safety of the players

This game should’ve always been played in LA

Any serious turf related injuries and there's gonna be some pisses off peeps.

Is there a Lowes or Home depot close by? I think they are having a sale on artificial turf this weekend
|
The NFL will get in there and re-sod it I bet.

Let me get this right...
Owners threaten to leave if they can't get their affronts to God built for their NFL teams. Not wanting to lose their team, taxpayers fund these new stadiums to get built so they can enjoy at least 8 home games a year. NFL owners take one of those home games away to go play down on a shitty field in Mexico or to a lukewarm London crowd. **** this International bullshit. I was hoping to drive down to LA again to watch KC play the Rams. |

I have something far more awesome in store. |

Even if they re sod it, I don't think it will be settled and playable in time

Plus, his perspective his awesome like Tarantino's take on 70's exploitation films. It's JMO, if that's not your vision that's cool. |

I read an article last night that the caravan from Honduras was staying at a stadium in Mexico City, the article didnt reference which one though.

The NFL should bring in a new field - its as simple as that. They are the ones who want this game, so they better be willing to make sure the playing surface is suitable for play.

Will get some new sod to look good on TV but will likely be the same shitshow as one of those messy fields when teams do this late season.

If you knew anything about that stadium, you would know that even in season, that field is bad. |
I assume teams can't sue if star players end up with season ending injuries because of that mess.
|
You would think those mexican would have that field perfect? Since they do lawn care i guess their being lazy mexicans and I'm half Mexican decent so i can say that.

I dont know. Having been to a few London games (Wembly not Twickenham) I find that the pitches made for soccer seem to get muddied up alot easier. Also the soccer pitches are ment to be slippery to increase the ball speed. I dont know, but I found it funny to see the sprinklers going on up until the start of the game for the NFL. Couldnt understand the logic behind it. I would say atleast get a good grounds crew in there.
|
Good. I hope Mahomes blows out his ACL.
Not really. I like the kid. I just want you ****faces who always say that about Brady to know what it feels like. I’d never wish injury on a player. Except Von Miller. **** that guy. And Rapistberger. And Burfict, that Bengals douchebag. And... okay, maybe I do wish injury on players... |
I look at that and all I can really think about is how much I hate soccer.
|
We'll be fine.
|
I guess I could be wrong, but I thought it was relatively common for NFL teams to re-sod the field even between weeks. That's why Arrowhead sometimes has the green stripe of fresh sod down the middle and old stuff on the sides sometimes. Am I crazy?

Can’t be any worse than a typical field at Arrowhead in December/January

I wouldn't worry. They get it perfect for all of the soccer games.

Fingers crossed for a Brady career ender this weekend! Hopefully it's painful too. |

Its a $14 Billion business. They are trying to showcase their product. Spending $50K to resod a field is nothing. I've never heard any complaints about field conditions from teams, players etc. Oakland and Pittsburgh I hear complaints about every year. |

I heard they are giving free tickets to the caravan.

Well, unless somebody brought up having sex with your own child. Then I guess we KIND of brought up Brady... |
Some of these posts appear to belong in a random-thought thread thing.
Still, I honestly believe that NFL teams should have the right to politely decline when scheduled to play on a terrible field (like, for example, the Faider's Petri dish). Hundreds of millions of dollars invested in coaches and players and you put the franchise at risk by forcing them to play in a weedy parking lot? The league should be ashamed (as if they had any shame at all). Then their executives should be caged with 40 or so starving anacondas. FAX |

I had kind of dismissed this as being one of those issues that would be worked out and be fine in the end, but this is starting to make me wonder...

Discussions continue about whether Monday night’s Chiefs-Rams game will be played in Mexico City, LA or postponed, per sources. Just play it in LA. **** Mexico City and their shit field. LA is a neutral site anyways LMAO

Not that the NFL would care. |
Man would I be pissed if I booked a trip to Mexico City to watch the Chiefs/Rams and the game got moved.

Maybe I will be able to go to the game now!! |
I know the NFL wants to play in Mexico. just hold the game in L.A..
It's Mexico 2.0 anyway. |
They ain't moving shit
|
game to be hosted at Bad Idea Jeans Estadio
|
I guess this was supposed to be a road game for the Chiefs anyway, the Rams were the ones losing a home game to Mexico City, but moving the game from a neutral site into the other team's home field is a little bit of a bad break for us.
I guess the good news if you were planning to make the trip would be that there are plenty of seats available for all Rams games. |
