If this kid shows out Sunday, our OL depth will look solid still.

But as others have pointed out, a lot of it is because of Mahomes. Ever notice how Rodgers never seems to have a bad offensive line his entire career? Similar playing styles. Defenses play on their heels against those guys.

I know nothing about this man; Does he have experience with snapping from the shotgun formation or was he mostly used with the QB directly under center? I don't want Mahomes chasing bad snaps all day.

I have been super impressed with Mahomes pocket awareness.

Smith would have folded in instances where Mahomes either escapes or steps up. This ability has made the line look better than it is.
