Considering offering Reggie Bush for Michael Turner straight up.

Turner went in the 5th round in our draft, one spot before I was going to grab him. I picked up Bush in the 6th, one spot before the guy who drafted Turner.

Good trade for me or him? Or is it about even? Base on projections on my draft software, they are pretty much even.

So I'm in a 10 team yahoo league, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get curb stomped. I don't do any strategy, I just move ppl up and down on on gut thinking and "wing it". I don't take it too seriously even though it's for $100, but I'm pretty sure my team is terrible.

QB - Stafford
WR - D Bowe
WR - Brandon Lloyd
RB - Jamaal Charles
RB - Trent Richardson
TE - Antonio Gates
W/R/T - Peyton Hillis

Bench:
Andrew Luck
Evan Royster
Sidney Rice
Brent Celek
Isaiah Pead (I don't even know who the fuck this is)

K - Akers
DEF - San Francisco, Pittsburgh

Caught this in an article on the top 150 at Rotoword and thought of you.

"66. Michael Turner (ADP: Late 3rd round) -- Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Turner is a "sleeper" to be listed among Friday's final Falcons cuts. He was completely ineffective in three preseason games (18 carries, 49 yards, 2.7 YPC) and is fast losing value to a team that will no longer lean on its run game. Turner is also owed a non-guaranteed $5 million base salary."

Your team isn't bad. I think Stafford, Lloyd and Gates could have monster years. I am however not sold on Richardson (bad schedule, o-line and knees) and you have too many Chiefs. If it's a keeper league your Luck pick could pay off.

The Poz 08-30-2012 08:47 AM

My team in a 12 man non-PPR league. 1 keeper allowed that must be drafted and stay on your roster all year. Takes the draft position 3 higher of where he was drafted in the following years draft. I drafted 12th (as I won it all last year).

QB - M.Ryan, J.Flacco, R.Wilson
RB - AP, R.Mathews, Isaac Redman
WR - G.Jennings, M.Colston, A,Boldin
TE - A.Hernandez, E.Dickson
K - D.Akers
D - Seattle, Atlanta

Hopefully Wilson pans out as my keeper as I took him in the 14th round.

Wow, that's certainly interesting. I have already proposed the trade. Perhaps I should withdraw it until I see the final cuts this weekend.

This is exactly why my two money leagues don't draft until this weekend.

I'm really down on my team and it's my own fault. I'm not really into FF like I am baseball. So I just winged it. The problem is that my league is totally different this year. The scoring is different. We have a offensive player position meaning you can start 2 qbs if you want. And the real kicker is the roster restrictions. We only have 4 bench spots. Which I didn't think was a big deal, but I screwed up and took the max WR's thinking I would play them in my OP spot, but them realized it really screws me.

Any way here is the scoring.

Passing
Every 25 passing yards (PY25) 1
TD Pass (PTD) 4
Interceptions Thrown (INT) -2
2pt Passing Conversion (2PC) 2

Rushing
Every 10 rushing yards (RY10) 1
TD Rush (RTD) 6
2pt Rushing Conversion (2PR) 2

Receiving
Every 10 receiving yards (REY10) 1
Every 5 receptions (REC5) 1
TD Reception (RETD) 6
2pt Receiving Conversion (2PRE) 2

Miscellaneous
Every 10 kickoff return yards (KR10) 1
Every 10 punt return yards (PR10) 1
Kickoff Return TD (KRTD) 6
Punt Return TD (PRTD) 6
Fumble Recovered for TD (FTD) 6
Total Fumbles Lost (FUML) -2

Kicking
Each PAT Made (PAT) 1
Each PAT Missed (PATM) -5
Total FG Missed (FGM) -1
FG Made (0-39 yards) (FG0) 3
FG Made (40-49 yards) (FG40) 4
FG Made (50+ yards) (FG50) 5

Team Defense / Special Teams
Each Sack (SK) 1
Interception Return TD (INTTD) 6
Fumble Return TD (FRTD) 6
Kickoff Return TD (KRTD) 6
Punt Return TD (PRTD) 6
Blocked Punt or FG return for TD (BLKKRTD) 6
Blocked Punt, PAT or FG (BLKK) 2
Each Interception (INT) 2
Each Fumble Recovered (FR) 2
Each Safety (SF) 2
0 points allowed (PA0) 10
1-6 points allowed (PA1) 7
7-13 points allowed (PA7) 5
14-17 points allowed (PA14) 4
18-21 points allowed (PA18) 3
22-27 points allowed (PA22) 2
35-45 points allowed (PA35) -3
46+ points allowed (PA46) -5
Less than 100 total yards allowed (YA100) 15
100-199 total yards allowed (YA199) 7
200-299 total yards allowed (YA299) 5
300-349 total yards allowed (YA349) 2
400-449 total yards allowed (YA449) -3
450-499 total yards allowed (YA499) -5
500-549 total yards allowed (YA549) -7
550+ total yards allowed (YA550) -10

Weird league because its not really PPR, its more of a returners league.

We start, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 OP, 1 K, 1 D

My team, I drafted 12th out of a 12 man league.

QB: Matt Ryan
RB: Matt Forte
RB: Peyton Hillis
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Julio Jones
OP: Andy Dalton (QB)
TE: Gresham
K: Keading
D: Cowboys

Bench: D. Bowe, Desean Jackson, DeAngelo Williams, Leon Washington

Washington returns kicks and punts. He ranks out as the 14th ranked RB because of his return yards

You have upside with Richardson, Gates and Stafford. Hillis is gonna see plenty of touches. Who knows with Bowe but there is upside there too. I think that's a pretty decent team. I personally don't hold two QBs all year but that's just me.

Thats an awesome lineup, but a lot of injury risk in your running backs,

Interesting. When did Graham and Gronkowski go? In the first round I would assume?

I believe "auction" means there was no draft.

Don’t flame too much, I hate my team:

QB: Romo (DAL), Luck (IND)
WR: Calvin (DET), A. Brown (PIT) , R. Wayne (IND)
RB: T. Richardson (CLE), P. Hillis (KC), B. Tate (HOU), D. Martin (TB), T. Gerhart (MIN), D. Brown (IND)
TE: Graham (NO)
DEF: SF
K: STL guy

Only 5 bench spots, so there’s quality still out there.

Thinking of dropping a RB to get J. Rodgers (ATL), D. Wilson (NYG), R. Jennings (JAX), or R. Williams (ARI) – high upside guys currently on the losing end of Running-Back-by-Committee. But really, these guys and mine all seem about the same.
