Mizzou fans need your opinion

If the Broncos are in fact eyeing Lock - what's your take on him?

This is what CBS has to say:

Quote:

10. Denver Broncos
Drew Lock, QB, Missouri. Some look at Drew Lock and see Patrick Mahomes. Others see Paxton Lynch. Or Jay Cutler. Or Josh Allen. Or even Matthew Stafford, by our own Chris Trapasso. Which comparison is closest? The only thing that matters is what Broncos brass sees when they look at Lock, and we know they are in fact looking, with John Elway recently scouting the Missouri quarterback. The Broncos decided to pass on Josh Allen and Josh Rosen last year, but I think they take the plunge at QB in the 2019 draft.

Id say he will be somewhere in between Mahomes and Lynch lol.

I see some Stafford in him.

Lol. That's a pretty wide spread. She looked somewhere between Christy Brinkley and Janet Reno

Look at other QBs that John Elway had his eye on in the draft.

Gabbert part 2 ?

Eleazar 01-02-2019 11:01 PM

Has never struck me as someone who will be a great pro, kind of the way I felt about Gabbert when he came out. Has a lot of as-yet unrealized potential.

Prison Bitch 01-02-2019 11:03 PM

PLEASE draft him Elway

Paxton 2.0

So basically a project - not someone who will make Mayfield type plays

Just a heads up CBS seems to think we lose the SB and this is who we pick:

Quote:

31. Kansas City Chiefs
Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn State. The Chiefs should be looking to bring in talent all over the defense this offseason after hitting the jackpot at quarterback, and one spot that bears attention is cornerback, where Kendall Fuller can handle the slot but a pressing need exists on the outside. That's where Oruwariye comes in as a cover corner who can handle man coverage on the outside with his size and ball skills.

I could live with that. But I think that if there is a stud safety available, I would prefer they went with him.

Not at all.

A less refined Stafford is probably a pretty good, quick way to describe Lock.

Not as big size wise, not as pro ready.

I'm interested to see if Lucas can pan out in conjunction with a good FA pickup or trade. Earl Thomas after he heals maybe?
