We have zero knowledge of the amount guaranteed and if I know Stephen Jones, and I don't, he low balled him and added a bunch of trash incentives with little guaranteed money.

His career high is 22 TD’s and 3,885 yards ROFL

Alex Smith has never held a team hostage like this...Dak Smith is a poor man's Alex Smith, and should be paid accordingly.

Dallas should franchise tag him while drafting the replacement to sit on the bench during 2020 season. Then let Dak walk into open market.

He's also only in his 3rd year. I'm not calling him great or anything but he had more touchdowns just last year than Alex Smith had in his first 3 years combined.

Alex Smith never had leverage to hold a team hostage.

It's not that Alex Smith was afraid to throw deep, he just wasn't paid enough.

I'll bet you anything Mahomes takes a team friendly deal because he's humble and was brought up right. He's smart enough to know 35 mil is PLENTY. Just because I'm the best doesn't mean I have to make more than everyone else ever made.
He want's an OL and a team around him . he's not stupid.

Don’t see that happening. Don’t think his agent will allow it.

Chiefaholic 08-12-2019 04:56 PM

Dak's value is approx. what the Skins signed Smith for. $30 per is too damn much in my opinion. If the Boys give him elite money, you'll see his true value within 2-3 years after they can't afford to surround him with playmakers. Mahomes on the other hand... The guy can make chicken salad out of chicken shit. Loads of guys will want to play in KC to drive their market value up. The sdame can't be said for Dak and Dallas.

He’s trying to be a rich mans Alex Smith tho...

Setsuna 08-12-2019 04:59 PM

Dak is being paid peanuts to be the starting QB of the Dallas Cowboys. He's a 4th round pick at QB. Why wouldn't he want to get paid like a starter of "AmEriCA'S TeaM"? If the Cowboys organization think they are so great, why shouldn't the face of the franchise be paid as such?

Naptown Chief 08-12-2019 05:00 PM

Jesus. Turned down $30m to hand the ball off to Zeke..

So how much would you give Dak since he is so good?

BigCatDaddy 08-12-2019 05:05 PM

I'd have to pass and spin the wheel on the draft again.

neech 08-12-2019 05:12 PM

All Colin Cowherd talks is Cowboys this and Cowboys that I get so tired of his rants I have to change the channel.

Zeke this and Dak that endlessly.
