Pretty awesome theater movie...I enjoyed the whole thing.
Incredible action

I loved it! I don't think it lacked plot or story at all. It explored so many aspects of survival, some with quite alot of depth, all while delivering a relentless action driven plot. Definitely a see twice flick for me.

Great movie.

I noticed through the film how in that universe the world is progressively going to shit, from the original Mad Max to Fury Road. "You can go 160 days in that direction and only find salt". A nice touch from George Miller.

So where do in the Max series timeline is this film set?

After Thunderdome? Between Road warrior and Thunderdome?

No clue. I'd assume after Thunderdome with all the flashbacks to the little kids he kept having...

In a way, that's pretty cool. That there isn't a strict continuity in the series. A lot of it is left to interpretation.

Incredibly entertaining. Just non-stop action, with set piece after set piece. Only small complaint was that it was hard to understand what dialog there was.

Oh, and Rosie Huntington Whitely is amazingly hot.

I don't disagree with you, but Zoe Kravitz would have been my #1 ranked breeder.

I think Miller said to think of it as not having a timeline. Max is just kind of a legend and each story just stands on its own.

This calls for a breeder ranking :

1. RHW
2. Riley Keough
3. Zoe Kravitz

Jusy saw it. Average story for a summer action blockbuster.
But the sets, cars and make up jobs are ****ing amazing. Should win tons of awards. Cars were legendary.

Read most of it was real not cgi. That is all sorts of awesome.
