Andy and McVey need to treaten a joint forfeit.

Tie for both teams isn’t the worst outcome.

This is the biggest game of the season for the NFL. A lot of money is on the line here and the players threatening to sit out should be the deal breaker. This will get moved. Probably be announced by Thursday.

I personally don't know how either team can risk this. Both of these teams have very legitimate SB aspirations. The NFL has 4 of probably the top 10 players in the league in the game.

I'm sure it'll be an embarrassment if they end up moving it to LA, but imagine the PR disaster - on national TV in the most hyped regular season game of the season - if there are any injuries. I'm someone who will lose money if they end up moving this to LA and I'm fine with that if it means we avoid injuries. This is our year and it would be a ****ing disaster if this game derailed it because of some Shakira'ed field.

This is so stupid.

It's the biggest game of the year so far.

The Rams can host it.

If there is even a chance that field won't be ready just move it.

By halftime, the field will be torn the hell up. We saw the sod they were laying down, and it was those small rolls you use for the front lawn of a ****ing house.

This.

Everything they're doing is aesthetic. New sod that won't take hold and painting the grass. It'll look pretty on camera for a half.

can't imagine that sod wouldn't do the same thing after a quarter of NFL football being played on it.

Another example... 2009 Champs Sports Bowl at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando... the field conditions were absolute dog shit and Miami Hurricanes RB Greg Cooper suffered a severe knee injury, basically ending his football career.

This shit is nothing to mess around with... move the game to LA.

The Toma guy said they have a hybrid field that is fibers and grass and they're having trouble getting the field to root. They brought in the guy that invented it and he's there from London working on it. The Chiefs field guy is also working with them. He thinks it can be ready in time didn't seem to think it was a foregone conclusion they will have it done in time.

He said it was a new type of grass that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work.

As part of deal between USC and Rams/NFL for Rams use of the Coliseum, USC requested that the Rams not have any Monday night games. I assume USC would have to waive that for game to be moved to the Coliseum?

Brings up an interesting situation for season ticket owners. Not sure if they would get a chance to purchase their assigned seats or if all of the tickets will go on sale to the general public.

My guess it will be open to the general public as season tickets are already paid and STH would not have paid for this game. As the Chiefs STH didn't have to pay for the game in London a couple of years ago.
