Stevie Ray Vauhan- Rise of a Texas Bluesman
Just watched the documentary on AXSTV.
Really Really Good. The respect he had for Albert King and the respect back is something to behold. AK let nobody in his circle and yet he loved that kid from Dallas. Anyone else seen it? Sorry left the G out of Vaughan in the Title. Fat finger Saturday............ |
I had a lot of SRV stuff on VHS. I havent seen the doc you are talking about but I had seen the Albert King/SRV session a couple times in the last 10 years. PBS shows it every once in while.

I didn’t know about this, thanks for posting. I’m big SRV and feel sort of connected since I was at his last show.

I saw that doc a while back, sometimes you (I) forget how hard most musicians work before they're known, let alone famous. SRV is a prime example.
