Gronk is the only guys you can say for sure would offer more than Flowers at this point. No way on Dunlap and a backup RB or a top 10 CB? Serious?

Flowers is a better player than Ben Tate however if Flowers were out the rest of this year the Chiefs would still have the best defense in the league.

If Jamaal Charles goes down who do we have? Ben Tate is a nice player who's only a backup because Arian Foster is one of the best backs in the league.

So tell me in 2014 how does John Dorsey make much needed improvements to the offense with limited gap space?

Yeah, the point was you have about a 10% chance at best of finding a comparable player. A bird in the hand and all that jazz.

Just looked at 09. It's about the same. 3-4 guys that catch your eye and McCoy is the Gronk of that class.

Even with the guys selected, I'm still not sure how much more value/impact they'd have than Flowers (sans Gronk, injury and all). It'd be nice to have another absolute monster playing ILB next to DJ but I'd rather be 3 deep at corner.

Any chance we keep Albert since Fisher is sucking the tit?

Any info on if KC is going after Nicks or Gordon? Jeff Chadhia confirmed that they're trying for TG

No one is going after Gordon. Hes pretty much untouchable at this point.

LMAO

Just because YOU didn't know who Marcus Cooper was doesn't mean the rest of the league didn't. He wasn't cut because he was garbage, they cut him because they wanted him on the practice squad.
He was in a numbers game, and lost. If they had known Culliver was going down like that, he never would of been cut.

Cutting Chase is far more the likely answer.

I'm down with cutting Chase.

Fine cut Chase, turn the keys over to Bray and keep Alice as the backup. Improve the offense and save some money.

God DAMN I love this idea!

When healthy, Flowers is still the best cover corner on this team. He does struggle against taller receivers, but he's still one of the better corners in this league. If someone came by offering a first, I'd take it. I don't like the idea of trading some of your best play makers though. Especially when your team is vying for the playoffs.

Ask me today and I'd take a 5th rounder for our entire secondary
