RGR Chiefs Football, hilarious , Denver, Flacco

This deserves it's own thread instead of buried in the Flacco to Denver thread:

Agreed, the Flacco stuff was hilarious.

I don't get why these guys are so down on Robinson though. Yeah he dropped some balls, but so did everyone this year as they got used to Pat. I don't remember any big drops late in the season and he caught what could have become one of the biggest passes in Chiefs history in the AFCCG. And he's great on the scramble drill.

I'm excited to see what he can do as a #3 next year.

Robinson also caught the famous 50th TD and 5000 yard ball from the GOAT.

Agree thought he did better than Conley down the stretch.

You could argue Robinson had the most clutch catch of the year because that ball he caught against NE to put them in FG range was a clutching ****ing play.

if folks aren't subs to those two channels yet - Hog and I can't help you help yourself.

I’ve been in the Robinson over Conley camp for two years. He seems to be a guy who comes up when given an opportunity and seems more athletic than Conley.

Exactly.

Although I wake up in the middle of the night wondering if Robinson was covered, maybe Mahomes decides to just chuck it to the far corner and hope Hill runs under it.

We literally had a chance to be in the conversation for the greatest regular season game ever, and greatest playoff game ever - if Mahomes somehow completes a late game miracle bomb to Hill that was never attempted. WAHHHHHHHHH

I definitely prefer Robinson to Conley as well.

One thing I've noticed, however, is that anytime there are 2 Chiefs WRs standing around the same area, 1 of them seems to always be Robinson. I really think he has a pretty poor understanding of this offense.

It makes sense when you consider how little run he gets despite clearly being an explosive player with solid hands and size.

The effort the Chiefs put into re-signing Conley will tell you how much they trust Robinson. Conleys physical attributes are clearly a better fit for what the Chiefs do but I think he's got his head pretty firmly wedged up his ass out there and that's why so many of his plays are made on busted plays anyway. He's just out there running around and makes big plays when PM is improvising. If my memory serves, he wasn't even supposed to be involved in that 50th TD but Mahomes essentially decided "**** it, I'm going deep" when he saw the coverage.

Once again, DJ beats me to it, but..

Robinson rarely seems to make plays or catches in structure. Everything is when Pat is running around.
