That does look like I could get into it but it is SyFy. I don't think I have been able to stomach much from that channel.

Grant Morrison is my dude. Unfortunately, Happy! is probably the worst book he's ever put out. Not sure how it will translate to the small screen..

Thought it was hilarious! Especially the hospital scene.

Just the right mix of crude funny and cheesy gory violence. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Too bad SyFy streaming quality sucks.

it was actually pretty good, all the actors seemed to be well up for it (except for the mom). I was shocked that they gave away all the big surprises in the first episode though..

Didn't read it, but I'm guessing it will be a single season story to save the girl. Probably only a single season show. Drawing that arc across multiple seasons would be too much of a stretch.

Will definitely be carried by Meloni though, with an assist from whoever writes Oswalt's dialogue. I liked Meloni in Oz and pretty much hated SVU. Haven't seen him in anything else, so wasn't sure what to expect. Very different role for him, and I think he did well. I like Oswalt, but when his dialogue is bad he's just annoying. Just OK in the first episode.

Bump. Been a fun ride so far. The story is dragging a bit in this last episode so glad that there's only one more left. The fight scenes are worth it though--the one in China town was SUBLIME from start to end.
