From what I understand, he took his name out of the running there as the Ravens are making a push to guarantee him the GM job once Newsome steps aside, which is getting closer to reality apparently. He was mentioned here as a possibility last year and would have been my first or second choice, definitely preferred him over Polian's kid.

Carl should have been fired when Marty left. He was given a blank check and set this franchise back years. Lamar Hunt wouldn't fire his friends thats why the Chiefs had such horrible drafts.
