Did you know the we have the number 3 ranked defense in the NFL?

Yes. Yes I did.

Got some respect on the NFL Network earlier today. They were saying how they thought the Chiefs defense was going to be a tough first test for Leinart and that the Cards shouldn't expect too much.

Perhaps it's just me, but it's rather nice to see that '3' without a '0' right after it.

Playing the Chiefs used to signal a must start for my fantasy WR's. Now I'm thinking about benching Fitzgerald next week.

Unless you're incredibly deep at WR I would never bench Fitzgerald. Even yesterday he had 65 and a TD.

Who are 1 and 2?

Yards allowed is a meaningless stat. A couple of years ago the Bus gained 5 yards on three carries................and scored three TD's. Where do we stand in points allowed?

We are 6th at 10.7 ppg.

There are three tiers among top teams in scoring defense:

#1 tier - Chicago (7.2 ppg), San Diego (7.7 ppg), and Baltimore (8.2 ppg)

#2 tier - Denver (10.3 ppg), Atlanta (10.5 ppg), and KC (10.7 ppg)

#3 tier - NE (16 ppg), Dallas (16 ppg), Buffalo (16.2 ppg), Minn (16.2 ppg), and New Orleans (16.2 ppg)

 Da Bears are some bad mofos!

Until they met yesterday San Diego and Baltimore ran up their impressive stats against teams that were a combined 0-13. Maybe their stats need to be taken with a grain of salt.

Here's the updated defensive stats. A majority of our success seems to be coming from the early draft choices we've made over the last few years.
