Pretty much. I also think it was the "We're talking to playoff teams" ruse that left a bad taste.

Everything I am reading is that they are just "in discussion."

Nothing official at kcchiefs.com yet.

Maybe it is his if -insert name- turns down the job offer after the super bowl. :p

Joe montana could be the oc,if the players don`t produce it dose not mean much.Just like the GB game the players showed up and the offense looked good.And eh who was the oc then??

I thought of that angle, but I think it has more to do with it being SB week. The NFL doesn't like any other league news coming out to upstage the big game. The deal is probably already done, just waiting until mid week to announce it to keep Goddell happy.
