It's our year.

That's pretty cool. Has that ever happened before?
|
Does he get an RBI for that?

Well, just checking here, not a huge baseball fan, but I thought the dropped third strike rule would only apply if first base was unoccupied. Here it appears the first base was occupied at the time of the pitch, and the batter should have been out. Just more a question than a comment.

IN MORE IMPORTANT NEWS THE PADRES LOST!!!!!!!!!!! PR IS LOSING HIS BURST!

That's kind of funny. I wonder what conditions led them to say, "You can do this, but only if someone's not on first base." What type of situation led to that clause? |
Hahahahaha holy shit

The more surprising thing is that the Mariners didn't do this to dick Felix Hernandez out of a win. |

Ohhhhhhh, wait. I guess if it happens with less than three outs maybe a catcher could fake drop it and then do some sort of double play. |

There were 2 outs so the rule is treated the same as a dropped 3rd strike with no one on 1st base. |
Pretty insane watching it live. They have been an entertaining team this year. Finding ways to win lol. Planning on going tonight.
