I thought Abrams didn't have anything to do with the suck ending/last season of Lost.

Yeah, for good reason. Abrams got out when he realized his jaw-dropping twists! and story arcs were going to be impossible to thematically conclude. This is a pattern that has repeated itself in many of Abrams' theatrical productions.

I didn't realize 1313 ever involved any part of the galaxy outside of Coruscant.

I think back on Lost now, it just totally pisses me off. I wish I'd never watched it at all. Well, except for Evangeline Lilly.

I never watched Alias but I heard it was similar in that they had no idea what they were doing and the ending was disappointing and ambiguous at best.

I really hate that bastard. I might skip Episode VII altogether and just wait until it hits premium cable.

I'd recommend that Dane, at least until some reviews hit.

They've (meaning Abrams' series) had some WTF moments, but at the same time one of my favorite shows on TV right now is Person of Interest. Which is also a Bad Robot production. And in my opinion their most consistently good series to date.

Related news: Peter Mayhew's recovery is going well. Apparently this is the first time he's been out of a wheelchair for two years. He had double knee replacement.

There's a casting call out for Wookies in London right now

I was just thinking...Chewie is probably going to be in the new Star Wars films...killing him off would be a major emotional gut punch that could really deliver some drama.

In fact...kill off Chewie at the beginning...and then kill off Han at the end of the film. EPIC!

Hammock Parties 09-26-2013 06:09 PM

Mayhew has said he wants to play Chewie again BTW.

Even if it's just a couple scenes, it would be great.

Hammock Parties 09-26-2013 06:29 PM
