Yeah, in truth we don't see many "perfectly thrown passes" but that dude is always trying to one-hand a catch. He'd probably have, oh, I don't know, maybe 3 more catches this season if he just two-handed them all like he's supposed to...

Seriously though, it's ****ing infuriating.

You get more extension by stretching out 1 hand. Every pass I've seen Baldwin try to 1 hand he barely gets the 1 hand on the ball. Not sure how he's suppose to do it with 2.

I have no problem with Breaston on the bench. I wouldn't put him on the field over Bowe and the only thing he has more than Baldwin is experience, everything else I'll take Baldwin.

Breaston can play the slot you know, and play it well.

That's what he did exactly at Arizona?

there's a couple cASSel threw that were high, and he had to stretch for, natch...

but there are also just as many where it seems as if he's trying to do his best Randy Moss impersonation - or like the play on Sunday where he broke his route off and had to look around for the ball and jump for it, instead of just running his route and trusting his qb to deliver.

Now, I know how extraordinary that may seem, asking a WR to trust a KC QB (and vice versa) - this is a true 'chicken-or-the-egg' scenario.

I joke that the sympatico between cASSeLLLLL and Bowe is...cASShoLLLLLe throws high, low, behind him, and Bowe will make the specstacular play. On the rare occasion the ball hits the reciever in the hands, he is so shocked that he drops the ball out of surprise.

Or something along those lines.

I'm sorry. You must be confusing Steve Breaston with Anquan Boldin.

Wha? **** it :doh!:

Breaston was a top 30 WR on PFF last year.

Not sure...

“It’s funny, a lot of people are always talking about me being a slot receiver, but my whole career, I’ve been outside,” Breaston clarified. “Last year was my first year that I even attempted at being the slot.

“Even when I was at Arizona, Q (Anquan Boldin) was mainly in the slot. I played opposite of Larry (Fitzgerald) outside.”

How do you know?

2011: 61 Receptions, 785 yds

Breaston can get separation, whereas Baldwin struggles with it. Cassell/Quinn need WRs that can get separation. They can't consistently throw in a small window. Just the facts. But if Breaston on the bench means a better shot at drafting a stud QB and flushing the FO, so be it.

Baldwin doesn't struggle with seperation. Baldwin struggles with getting his # called pre snap.

You do know that Breaston has played slot with KC and played well right?
