Any side affects?

I can go get a shot tomorrow if I want. Just wanted to see if anybody here was a zombie first.

My first shot is scheduled for Friday.

There's a number of people here that have gotten it already. From those that have reported, there have been very minimal side effects.

My wife is a nurse, she felt sick starting a few days after her vaccination, for a couple of days.

My school is telling us possible shots in February

Unfortunately for Kansans we are 47th out of 50 in our vaccination rate so far. It's going to be a long time for me, especially since I hold no value to society of any kind.

My MIL works at the local hospital and got it sometime last week. She hasn't said anything about side effects

My wife is getting one tomorrow.

I had a check up this morning and asked my doctor when we could get it and he said I could go to Amarillo Civic Center and walk in. No problem. In Texas at least they want to get the large population cities done first.

Am I correct that it doesn't really count until you get the second shot?

I think you're something like 40% safe after the first and then 90%+ after the second.

My dad's gotten both of them and has had no side effects at all.

Immunity starts to kick in 7-10 days after your first jab. The full 95% protection doesn't come until 7 days after the second shot.

Seems like I heard That nobody thats had only one shot has gotten a severe infection. Some countries were only going to give the 1 shot to spread it out faster.

If I understand correctly after 1st shot 80 percent? Of course it takes a week or two to kick in? Someone on here will correct me but that’s what I was told by a PA

Moderna here. No problems at all. Shot two in a few weeks.
