I have a feeling he pulls a last boy scout on the field.

So who will they put him on? Watkins will double move and fake Peters out of his socks if he is wearing any.

How about the bench. He cover that.

Absolutely. He's young and dumb. Brain hasn't even fully developed yet..

He'll probably mellow out around 28-29 like Dez and Pacman Jones.

I don’t think his play on the field can simply be explained by maturity though.

He’s been really bad.

I could totally see him throwing a punch at Reid or a ref and getting kicked out for life.

He's moved to a new scheme where his strengths aren't being utilized to the fullest potential. Plus he's been hurt.

The dude had HoF potential in KC. We'll see if he can bounce back.

What's funny?

Peters at his worst isn't half as bad as Pacman when he first entered the league.. now, Jones is normal as shit. Just takes time for some of these immature assholes.

He was pretty adamant that he’s not hurt.

I definitely think some of it is the scheme, but he just doesn’t look good at all. He’s not taking the ball away or even getting P Def’s. I find it hard to believe it’s not more so on him than scheme with Phillips at the helm.

So what do you think it is? How does a 1st rounder go from HoF track to legitimately one of the worst DBs in the league in one offseason?

Remember people bitching at Bob Sutton for not having Peters shadow #1 receivers? Last weekend was a good reason why he didn’t.

He isn’t a press corner and his attitude is why he’s gone. Anyone with eyes could see the guy is lazy.

I feel ya

Currently Peters is rated 15 spots below BOTH current starters at CB for KC.

That's right, so far this year Peters has given up more TD's and 40+ yard plays than either corner in KC...
