The defense is fired up and has been kicking ass. As long as the refs don't throw flags 15 times at us and zero for them again, we're going to beat them down.

Infact the only time I've seen anyone pick the Pat's was in this thread with the picture if the picks from an ESPN show. Even majority of picks on Pats sports radio are for the Chiefs. I'm assuming Skip Bayless will pick the Pats.

This is not a bad matchup for the Chiefs it's a bad matchup for the Pats, especially since it's in Arrowhead. Remember this though, 2015 was the Pat's last loss in afccg in the road against what many consider a top 10 all time defense in Denver and Pats put up basically 20 points (18 in reality as both extra points were missed). That was also a very loud environment so I use that as the Pat's threshold. If they scored 20 that day vs that D then they could and should get 30 tomorrow. Chiefs need to score in the 30s to win IMO.....I know that sounds easy the way they played this year, but it won't be!.......

I'll be shocked if the Pats score 30 tomorrow. Justin Houston is playing in another gear, haven gotten almost 70% of his season total in sacks after December 1st. Chris Jones pushed Quentin Nelson around last week and the secondary has improved with the new blood.

The Chiefs haven't given up more than 30 points at home since the 2015 season and this season, they only gave up more than 20 points in 4 of their 8 home games. The highest they gave up was 29 to the Chargers, so if the Patriots score 30, it will be the highest opposing score the Chiefs gave up all season.

Your only hope is to try and limit the Chiefs to like 24-28 points and beat them like the Chargers did. Good luck with that!

blahblahblah

Guys, can you stop with the woe-is-me attitude? It's ****ing embarrassing and it's not even accurate.

74% of "experts"/talking-heads/etc picked us to win. We will be favored to win the AFC West next year. And most years after that for the next 10-15 years while Mahomes is the QB.

This isn't your daddy's Chiefs. We no longer choke at home to inferior teams like the Colts. We don't go entire halves scoring 0 points. We don't need smoke and mirrors to put up points. We don't have the worst QB on the field. And the media and general public knows this. Some of you must live in a weird little bubble. I don't watch any sports TV outside of NFL Network, but the content on there and places like /r/nfl and Twitter are in general very favorable to the Chiefs. People absolutely love Mahomes, they realize how great he is, they all want to watch KC play and we get a ton of respect. This "poor little small market no one likes us" routine is weak as shit.

2 Weeks from now: "Saints have the more complete team, Chiefs don't match up well at all."

2 Weeks and 1 Day: "Chiefs benefitted from beating teams that did not play their best. They won't be so lucky next year defending their Championship title."

Training Camp Predictions- Chiefs 8-8- the Chargers take the division, Chargers are just Loaded with talent and Rivers is a Gamer!"

LMAO cuz it's true :) can't wait to take what's rightfully ours!

It doesn't matter if KC wins the SB this year the Chargers will be the AFW favorite again according to the NFL media.

The Chiefs defense is playing the best they've played all season, held a good Colt's offense to just 6 points, and Berry will play today. The Chief's have the top scoring offense in the league, scored 40 points at Patriots, and scored 4 rushing TDs and 31 points with a balanced attack that dominated time of possession against the Colts defense last week. Chiefs by double digits.

Close. I wasn't expecting OT though, could've gone both ways.
Arrowhead was impressive; not Mile High Stadium difficult, but still very loud.
