Alex Smith, if released will require STARTER money and a STARTER's contract to sign on. Some QB starved team will give it to him. Why don't people get this?

No shit, all kidding aside, Alex Smith has become a pretty damn good QB... He is not gonna dazzle you with the long ball but he is accurate and really would be a good QB with Charles and Bowe if he stays
