Hollywood is set... all they have to do now is make films about bands that were big 30/40 years ago and the generation that grew up listening to their music will surely pony up the dollars!

CASH COW!!!

Well I guess its not a comic book hero movie. I just dont see the Bee Gees being of interest to people. Their money I guess. I realize They started in the 60s but disco was there claim to fame and it was a boring period. Actually they are making a movie about Studio 54 in that era that sounds much more interesting than the Bee Gees.

I’d rather see a Smokey Robinson movie

While they do have an interesting story... My hope would be the movie would cause a resurgence in disco music and acts like Kanye and Drake would start recording Disco songs, much like Kiss and the Rolling Stones did in the 70's, and there would be a mass revolt, (record burnings) as there was back then. Then rock would come back to life.
The only question is: How do you burn an MP3?

Erm... nuDisco is a thing. And a good portion of EDM genres are basically the grandchildren of disco

Who plays Peter Frampton for the failed remake Sgt Pepper portion of the movie.

Never got the love for The Bee Gees. Guess they just weren’t my taste. I’m sure they probably have a cool story to hear about though.

As long as they focus on the sex and drugs while leaving out all the terrible music, it could be great!

Fallon has to play Barry, and JT has to be cast as Robin
