Mexico City - What is there to do as a tourist?
 

Headed down Thursday and I keep looking at "walking around Mexico City and the nightlife" videos on Youtube. It looks like the Plaza on steroids.

Anyone else been before Or have suggestions on what to do during the day outside of the pyramids tour?

I hear it's a great place to get kidnapped.

Hope your travel arrangements are refundable/flexible if they end up moving the game to LA because of the field conditions at the stadium in Mexico City.

Eat amazing food.

Going down on Thursday also. A guy I work with is from Mexico City and he gave the following list

Chapultepec Castle
Zocalo
Templo Mayor
Antroplogico Museo
Angel of Independence
Amecameca - town in the center of Iztacihuatl and Popocatepetl volcanoes and has great views of the two.

Get your fingers mailed to your family members
Die in the middle of a burning tire
Mysteriously die in your room from carbon monoxide poisoning
