I don't think he makes it out of the 3rd. 4th at the absolute latest. Issues be damned.

It's funny because Arenas played in the SEC and he was a great punt return man.

Think of it like this, if someone ever mentions the weed factor in us getting Justin Houston, it's used in a positive way because it made him able to fall to us. With Honey Badger, he either fails and is off the team, or we get to talk about him like we do about Houston. Either way, if you can get him at the top of the 5th, I think the choice is easy.

Oh I agree that he was disciplined by his School and by the NCAA, but any mention that he hasn't/can't change now is all speculation.

Keep telling yourself that while you watch Flowers and Mathieu try to defend people 6 inches taller than them.

Flowers seems to be doing fine.

Ya he does great until he has to defend a premier WR.

Did you see him try and defend Megatron? It was like a bear swatting away a bee. There was absolutely nothing he could do.

Arenas was a good return man at Bama but hes just looked slow in the NFL... Hes not the same type of athlete as Mathieu

yes, but we need options.

like having a quality,non-smurf cornerback for certain type WR's

KCSPORTSNUT 01-06-2013 01:36 PM

95% of all d backs are under 6' so get off the size BUT you have the old LSU issue they get to the pros and they get the money and get lazy.

Demonpenz 01-06-2013 01:37 PM

Anyone ready for the Russel Wilson hype ship to sink?

FAX 01-06-2013 01:38 PM

I don't know ...

I get a sort of Pacman vibe from The Human Honey Badger.

I don't care about Highlight videos like in the OP

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="506" height="304" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/5ZdkVflS7zI?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen allowTransparency="true"></iframe>

Check out the throw from Geno at the 2:18 mark

Better yet. The throw at 3:52

Saccopoo 01-06-2013 01:40 PM

At the top of the second round, both of these guys should be available (possibly):

David Amerson, CB; NC State
6'3", 200 lbs.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/N4aTUvkrnDI?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Xavier Rhodes, CB; Florida State
6'2", 215 lbs.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/fXZQs52yooI?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Both would be superb opposite of Flowers. Both are excellent at press coverage.

KCrockaholic 01-06-2013 01:41 PM

Xavier Rhodes is frickin awesome.

Most would put the Honeybadger at nickle anyway.
