petegz28 11-10-2019 08:01 PM

2nd time under Reid we don't make the playoffs?

I got us 8-8 or 9-7 at best right now and losing the division to Oakland. Namely due to schedule.

We have 3 division games left at home so if we win those we go 9-7. Probably not going to get it done.

Chargers in Mexico? 50-50
Chicago on the road? Doubtful
NE on the road? Doubtful

Even if we ball out the rest of the season we are 10-6. That may get the division but the Raiders have a very, very soft schedule. Seriously, they may have 1 more loss on their schedule and that is us.

Games like today (Titans) are what kill your season. 99% chance to win with under 2 mins left and you lose. Things had to line up almost miraculously for that to happen yet they did.

Injuries are a problem
Turnovers are a bigger problem
Coaching right now is a huge problem

Hard to imagine having Mahomes as a QB and not making the playoffs but that is where things are headed right now.

notorious 11-10-2019 08:02 PM

They will get hot and close out the end of the season.

They will then proceed to shit themselves in the playoffs.

You know how this script goes.

ThaVirus 11-10-2019 08:02 PM

You're overreacting after a bad loss.

Sit the next couple plays out, chief.

eDave 11-10-2019 08:02 PM

So we are not even a playoff team anymore? Come on guys.

Hammock Parties 11-10-2019 08:02 PM

well, at least the playoffs are a lock now

Why Not? 11-10-2019 08:03 PM

Honestly I’d be fine with it. Would rather us make the playoffs but anything that would
maybe kinda sorta head in the direction of a new HC, I’m for.

Mama Hip Rockets 11-10-2019 08:04 PM

No.

Jerm 11-10-2019 08:04 PM

Oh I'm sure we'll get in and probably lose in equally mind boggling circumstances...then Andy will say it's on me and we have to fix this.

Everyone in here say wait until next season...

Rinse, wash, repeat.

pugsnotdrugs19 11-10-2019 08:04 PM

This is stupid.

Ok, they laid an egg today. And they may not go anywhere in January. But if there’s one thing I KNOW about Andy Reid teams, it’s that they’re going to play big against divisional opponents. We have 4 of those games left.

They’ll win 10-11 and the West. From there, idk.

One and done.

But...I'm a realist. The Raiders may only have 1 or 2 losses left with their schedule.

We definitely aren't beating NE, and we will probably get beat by the Chargers once and the Bears - both of those teams remind me of the Colts and Tits.

The raider game has a shot at getting flexed right now.

Eh, never mind. New England vs Houston isn't getting flexed out of SNF.

Clark and Jones are barely positive contributors.

Only one that we really have missed out of those guys has been Fisher.

tk13 11-10-2019 08:16 PM

This is a wild overreaction. Maybe they don't make the playoffs but it would be a pretty bad finish if they did.

Even if Oakland somehow passed us for the division, the Colts, Steelers and Titans are all up and down with backup QBs and the Bills have been really inconsistent and have a tough finishing schedule. Otherwise you're banking on someone like the Chargers or Browns to win out. The middle of the AFC isn't exactly a parade of juggernauts.

493rd 11-10-2019 08:16 PM

It’s not so far-fetched that this team doesn’t make the playoffs. If the Chiefs don’t win the AFCW they’re in trouble.

Yes. He is such a massive liability against the run that it nearly completely overrides all the good things he does rushing the passer.

Probably not the case. He had a bad play. Maybe. Laying all of the defense's struggles against the run today on Jones is probably inaccurate.

Titans have a rough schedule but Texans will probably win that division. Colts I can see making the playoffs or Bills. That leaves one spot open to us if we don’t win the division and we would be battling the Steelers for that spot

This is accurate. He sucked grass today when Henry got hot. Jones needs to go to DE permanently, and Pennel needs to be in the middle with Nnadi. Of course, now Ogbah is out for the year, so that only makes more sense...

Ragland struggled when he did. On the long Henry run he should fill the cutback lane and he way over pursued from the back side.
