I knew what it was when we lined up that way (at least I thought I knew what was going to happen). With Reek in that tight and needing an easy throw-and-catch (and no motion), you knew it was a crossing route. I mentioned to my son that with Reek (and his speed), I could see him breaking it to a go. And that's what they did. Kudos to Andy/Eric for having that cued up and ready to go.

BTW, did you see the protection? Bell pulls to block on the overload (and blitz) side. The down-block and PA give an awesome rue-look as well. So, so pretty and well-executed.

I believe this is a play the rams and 49rs also use.

I don't know. That'd be a tough call. Offensive lineman are CLEARLY allowed to block in the back on spin moves etc. (within the tackle box). This could have, possibly, been called, but I don't think they want to prohibit such blocks in the pocket by linemen (IMO).
