I'm sure it's been mentioned but Chimay Ale Grand Reserve is delicious. Just opened a bottle and it's great all the way around.

Yes. The beer, while not terrible, was very, very boring. The hops didn't bring anything to the table flavor-wise, aside from being bitter. I'm glad someone else brought it to the party, because I wouldn't ever spend money on it.

Also, does Shiner distribute their Ruby Redbird around here? If not, I need to work out a trade with someone to get some to me.

I just drank a 2009 bottle of Hair of the Dog Adam. It was life-affirming. Just an astonishingly great beer.

Love my craft beers. And this is my absolute favorite:

I went to a friends house a couple nights ago and he handed me a Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA. ****ing awesome! It's literally the Dom Perignon of beers. I had no idea he spent $70 on a 6 pack, I wouldn't buy it. But damn, it was good. It's like 19% alcohol too and pretty scotchy which isn't a bad thing.

The sad thing about that is that you can get it for about 8 bucks at the grocery store in Florida. I drank a lot of it over spring break in Palm Beach. Loved it. (Nevermind... I'm thinking of the 90 minute IPA, which I loved).

Can't recommend the Firestone-Walker Double Jack DIPA highly enough. Excellent! Also just picked up 4 bombers of the 10th anniversary Stone Ruination DIPA. I've heard good things, but I'll find out tomorrow.

It was quite good this year. I will definitely be picking some up next March when it comes around again.

Just popped a bottle of Love Child #2. Well worth the $20. Might run back to the store tomorrow and pick up a couple more to set back.
