I can't do it very often. Who knew a simple sub sandwich could have so many calories? I guess that's why they're so awesome.

Whatever is farthest away from subway.

When I want a sandwich, I go to the Manhattan Deli on ingersol in Des Moines or B&B Grocery on the East Side.

Subway it is the only one around where I live.

None of the above. As I just like my sammiches wiff bread and meat, no sauce, mayonnaise or any of that, it's difficult for me to justify buying a sandwich away from home, when I can just as easily make it myself.

For chains I prefer Jason's Deli. I think they make pretty good sandwiches. But a sandwich shop is different than a sub shop, really.

If you live in the northeast a great chain sub is at Wegmans. Their subs are copied from Dibella's Subs in Rochester.

Being on the road, unfortunately it's Subway.

The one near me is like $10 for the footlong sub. Seems a little high.
