Just got a sneak preview of NFL Films “Sound Effects” piece on Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, who was wired for sound during the game Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

What struck me foremost is how remarkably calm Tebow is during what we otherwise call “Tebow Time.” Crunch time. Do-or-die time. For instance, Bears running back Marion Barber III fumbled the ball away in overtime. Pandemonium broke out on the Broncos’ sideline. Running back Jeremiah Johnson, sitting next to Tebow on the bench, went nuts. Johnson jumped up like a firecracker went off under his seat. He started pounding repeatedly on Tebow’s shoulder pads, yelling, screaming.

Tebow’s reaction? At first he said nothing. He slowly got off the bench and as he started walking on the field, he started quietly singing a hymn. Not above a whisper, but here the world was turned upside down in an instant and Tebow was singing.

Incredible calm under pressure. As a leader, Tebow is clearly confident and is firm when delivering encouraging messages to various teammates, but he’s not quite as rah-rah as I thought he was. This is the NFL, after all.

Another moment comes after Demaryius Thomas lets a long Tebow pass slip through his fingers. Thomas then, and later, said he short-armed the ball and he should have caught it for a touchdown. After the incompletion, a bummed Thomas is on the bench. Again Tebow is sitting to the left. Again, Tebow puts his arm around Thomas and says: “”You’re good. Hey, no big deal. It just makes it closer for a little bit longer. You’re about to catch the game-winner. And then you’ll be the hero of the game.”

Yeah, I thought about that one... it was more of a team pic though. I'm a believer in the SI Jinx (too many historical proof points), hope he is stronger than the jinx.

SI doesn't jinx Tebow, Tebow jinxes SI.

Awwww - he was singing. That is just so sweet! What a heartwarming lil' cutesy!

“Tebow came to me and said, ‘Don’t worry about a thing,’ because God has spoken to him,” - Bronco linebacker Wesley Woodyard

I imagine the light of Tebow burns the skin of Raider fan something fierce, eh?

Am I the only one that secretly hopes that Tebow does so well that Elway will have no excuse but to keep him on at the franchise QB. Then when the league DCs get a chance to decipher the triple option offense that the Donkeys run (just like the wildcat offense invasion) the Donks will be stuck in medocrity for the next decade. :thumb: Go Football Jesus!

The Jets gave the blueprint on how to stop us a few weeks ago and we haven't been running it nearly as much ever since. We ran about 8 option plays total the past two weeks.

SlowMo learned the hard way that real QB's play 4 quarters....not 1.

I learned that Denver can play with anyone as long as we don't shoot ourselves in the foot.We can use the Chiefs game to get young guys like Julius Thomas, Raheem Moore, and Jeremiah Johnson more involved while we rest our key guys for the playoffs.

If there is a god, we will steal the division from knowmo.

He has been insufferable this year and deserves his comeuppance.

LMAO That's not what I call "playing with anybody". Game was a laugher for the most part. We told you all week how this would play out and your head was too far up your ass to see it.
