If Sutter's and Boyer's numbers are retired Yadi and Waino should get the same treatment (honestly, so should Carp).

I love Waino and Carp. Without both we don't win in 2006 and 2011. they carried the teams. Were cheerleaders in the locker room and produced on the field. No Cardinal fan is ever going to forget Waino's curveball and Carp's Philly performance in game 5. Is that enough to get your # retired?

Two rockets off the bat that are just loud outs. Damn, that sucked.

Matheny is listening to me. If we are at normal depth, he would have got the double play the first batter. Nice job.

Siegrist K's Votte and Bruce looking. Maybe we found another keeper arm for the bullpen?

'Hamas' Jenkins 06-08-2013 07:58 PM

1)I've been talking up Siegrist for more than a month now. Looks like the real deal to me.

2) Broxton pisses me off. He's generally been a shit reliever for most of the last three years, but we can't hit a ****ing lick off the asshole.

About seven years ago no one in the entire organization, save Reyes, had a good changeup. Now it seems like everyone does.

He is a better long term starter option than Lyons. Dennis Martinez was high on this guy from the start when he was in A ball. Thought he could be a major league starter, and that was when his stuff wasn't as high end as it is now. His velocity has gone up at every level. One of those guys that you think can add velocity because of his frame and it actually happens.

Garcia may be toast, I wouldn't mind them sending him back down to stretch out in a starter role and switching him with Lyons. Lyons would be serviceable as a lefties only reliever.

Note to self: Throw Mesoraco nothing but changeups. Ever.

Pepe Silvia 06-08-2013 09:01 PM

Who's this Mesoraco ****? Lets get em tomorrow boys. Need to rock Arroyo.

'Hamas' Jenkins 06-08-2013 10:14 PM

Not surprising at all it was Phil Cuzzi who made that call at first. Guy is an incompetent jackass who has a history of rat****ing the Cardinals.

Mi_chief_fan 06-09-2013 08:17 AM

Best news of the night: Oscar Taveras back, 1-4 with a double. Big sigh of relief through Cardinal Nation.

I really wish so many Cardinals games weren't blacked out. Haven't seen more than a couple of innings all year.
