He’ll miss 4 games and be back for the Raiders after the bye. Book it.

The bright side is his ankle will be much healthier.

Also, this will force the D and some other positions to man up.

Cup half full view is this could end up being exactly what was needed to get this team peaking at the right time.

Also give Reid 10 days to game plan an offense around Matt Moore's unique set of skills.

Reid had Smiff leading one of the top offenses in the league. He can do it!

Must not be with Kaiser.

They'd be like we have December 24th at 6pm, and the next is January 18th.

The Franchise 10-17-2019 09:44 PM

It’s all going to depend on which defense shows up. If it’s the one from tonight then I think we’ll be ok.

Worst case is the season is over. Not likely.

Best case, team has to man up and not rely on Superman to bail them out. And then Superman comes back to an actual team.

BossChief 10-17-2019 09:50 PM

They got lucky and dodged a big bullet. It went right back in and without damage.

They kept him out as a precaution and he will be back in 2-3 weeks.

Tomorrow’s MRI is just to confirm what they already think.

Kman34 10-17-2019 09:51 PM

Bet he's out one game... Tough MFer..

notorious 10-17-2019 09:52 PM

Start wearing knee braces as a precaution you badass mother ****er.

MAHOMO 4 LIFE! 10-17-2019 09:53 PM

Yep Mahomes needs to be like Brady. Just wear the knee brace

chinaski 10-17-2019 09:54 PM

This might sound dumb, but this could actually be a blessing. If he's out a few weeks, it will give his ankle time to heal as well.

If the Defense can keep performing like they did tonight, getting a fully healthy Mahomes back down the home stretch would really kick ass.

carcosa 10-17-2019 09:54 PM

Gosh I'm glad it doesn't seem to be too bad

And it's kind of nice to have zero expectations for the Packers game..... Just sucks that it's ANOTHER prime time game smh

You do know a dislocated patella isn't something you just pop right back up from right?

Cosmos 10-17-2019 10:03 PM

We’ve asked Mahomes to carry this team for a season and a half.

These players and coaches need to get their collective shit together and be ready to roll when Mahomes is fully healthy.

Good to see the D show up (for 1 game), now let’s get our running game working.

This is true. It took Mahomes at least five minutes to get right back up and walk off the field.

Hammock Parties 10-17-2019 10:03 PM

It was a knee compression, not a knee brace. Helps with swelling and stabilize the kneecap. Interesting. Definitely wasn’t an immobilizer.

Barring a SB battle, I think it’s a lock. Rodgers would be pushing 40 by the next go around and he doesn’t strike me as a play forever guy.

Yeah... Everything is negative with him.

Though it's not out of the realm considering he's dealing with a high left ankle sprain too.

It was a right knee patella dislocation

Jerm’s not wrong. It’s not so much the walking off part that has me hopeful. It’s his tweet and the attitude that seems to be coming from the team and staff. While many great athletes have walked of the field right on to the IR, most of them are not tweeting or saying optimistic things hours later. These guys tend to know when they are proper ****ed.

If he’s out for 4 weeks, you get a bye after and his ankle will be 100%

If he’s out for longer than that, then you may look at moving anything of value that you don’t plan on having in place next year for picks.

Not sure what that is. Would Sammy have value to someone that badly needs a WR? Robinson maybe?

We could use any extra picks on OL so we don’t have to watch Mahomes get murdered again next year.

That's all I was trying to say lol, thanks.

Just being realistic...like I said hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
