Any chance that Schwartz plays?

I haven't heard anything recently, but he has been out a long time. We could really use him if he's healthy.

I'd say the chances are less than 25% based on the fact that we have heard precious little about his progress during the injury.

He was eligible to return from IR on 12/15 but AFAIK he hasn't been taken off yet.

Whether he does or doesn't, Myles Garrett is a beast. The RT will need lots of help.

He seems busy doing meal prep. I'm sure he will have a hell of a spread for the game!

I’m confused about his injury. Surely if his back was bad enough he’d
Have had surgery right?

The fact that it’s he didn’t need surgery makes me feel like he could recover by next season.

Who knows, maybe they'll put Keizer out there and double Garrett. If they do that, I'd have to think they try him 1-on-1 against Fisher on the other side.

Or that he doesn't plan on ever playing again.

I'm confused as well. I'd understand if he did in fact have surgery that he'd need upwards of 4-6 months to recover. But assuming he never had surgery, he's been out something like 3 months now? What kind of injury that doesn't require surgery keeps someone out for upwards of 3 months? And if there's no surgery needed to fix it, just rest and recovery, and 3 months isn't enough apparently, what's to keep the exact same injury from popping up again next season? This doesn't seem like the kind of injury that will just magically go away.

Backs are tricky.. Ask Tiger Woods.. I would say Schwartz is done...

Maybe he's channeling Eric berry's spirit

I would think he’s done for the year. The team has been giving out almost no information on his recovery so I’d assume that he’s been trying to rehab in hopes to come back this year and the rehab hasn’t been going as well as hoped. But I honestly have no clue - just pure speculation. Hoping he can come back for the last two games but won’t hold my breath.
